Haute Events: Kelly Rowland at Surrender; Apl.de.ap at XS

Kelly Rowland and DJ Kaskade at Surrender Nightclub.

Singer Kelly Rowland closed out Labor Day weekend at Surrender Nightclub at Encore Las Vegas with a 15-minute performance underneath the stars. The former Destiny’s Child member arrived at the Las Vegas hot spot shortly after midnight and spent time relaxing in a luxurious bungalow drinking Red Bulls and Fiji water. Rowland danced on a day bed and sang along to the music as she prepared to take the stage. The singer then got on the microphone at 1:30 a.m. and sang her hit songs “Commander,” “When Love Takes Over” and “Like This” to a packed crowd.

Encore Beach Club’s resident deejay Kaskade, who performed his final set of the season earlier that day, watched Rowland’s performance as well. Rowland rushed over to Kaskade following her show and gave the producer a big hug and chatted for 20 minutes. Rowland left the venue just before 3 a.m.

Over at XS Nightclub at Encore, Apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas continued his Labor Day weekend celebration. The talented artist along with good friend R&B singer/songwriter Omarion stole the show when they came on stage to welcome all of the club-goers. The club’s energy sky rocketed when party-goers went wild after the Black Eyed Peas band member decided to take over the turntables for an impromptu deejay set. After rocking the decks, Apl.de.ap and Omarion continued partying in their exclusive VIP booth as fans gathered around to party with them.

Reality starlets Holly Madison and Angel Porrino of E! Entertainment Television’s “Holly’s World” were also at the club.
