Hang Out With Helen Hunt and Kirstie Alley at the AZ Women’s Expo

OK, so maybe Helen and Kirstie won’t exactly have a lot of time for “hanging out,” because they’re actually scheduled to be the keynote speakers at Arizona’s Ultimate Women’s Expo this Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 18 and Sept. 19. The event will be a two-day fete celebrating everything women are known to love, including products and services related to fashion, beauty, health, cooking, home decor and more. Oh, and let’s not forget the cocktails, sales and giveaways!

There will be more things fun and fabulous within the 160,000 square feet of Phoenix Convention Center space this weekend than you could shake a shopping bag at. Plan to dedicated your day to this affair, as it’s no doubt going to take some time to take in all the sights and sounds and activities. Enjoy 55o-plus boutique shopping pavilions, a Rejuvenation Tea Garden (where you can enjoy a complimentary massage), a high-fashion runway show by Dillard’s, L’Occitane facials, mini manis by the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa … are you keeping up here? … Toni & Guy Hair Makeover Stage, an Aveda Pavilion dedicated to skincare, and a Tasting Lounge for snacks in between laps.

The makeup alone could make a girl squeal with delight. If you’re a cosmetics fiend, consider adding these to your list: Dillard’s Beauty Bar, which will be giving free makeovers with products by Chanel, Dior, Estee Lauder and Lancome; the Beauty Brands Beauty Bar, offering complimentary makeovers as well as other mini services; and the Sephora Beauty Studio, which will, yes, be offering more free makeovers!

If home decorating is what really gets you gabbing, must-see pavilions will include the Pottery Barn pavilion, where experts will be dispensing tips on holiday entertaining (this year could be the year you finally score points with his mother), and the Williams-Sonoma Cooking Theater.

And for girls who just wanna have fun and chill out … First, stop by Senor Rio Tequila for a Pink Bikini (it’s a cocktail, not a two-piece) or the Dirty Blonde Cocktails Pavilion to try the champagne cocktail Valerie Bertinelli declared her favorite at last year’s expo. Next, make a beeline to the calm-inducing bath and body product purveyors Crabtree & Evelyn and Bath & Body Works, both of which will be giving complimentary treatments to leave you feeling serene — that is, until you walk by the next booth of exciting baubles, right?

Helen Hunt will be speaking at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and Kirstie Alley will be speaking at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Purchase tickets to one or both days via the event’s site here and receive a special discount.
