Lawyer-to-the-stars, Harry “Skip” Brittenham, is named on Hollywood Reporter’s top 100 Power Lawyer list

Harry “Skip” Brittenham

Category: Thinkers

Company: Ziffren, Brittenham, Branca Fischer, Gilbert-Lurie Stiffelman, Cook, Johnson Lande & Wolf LLP

Industry: Law

What Made Him Haute: He co-founded boutique law firm Ziffren with partner Kenneth Ziffren 30 years ago. Today the firm is the largest of its kind and represents A-listers including Harrison Ford, Eddie Murphy, Bruce Willis, Bob and Harvey Weinstein, and Revolution Studios founder Joe Roth. Brittenham sits on the board of a number of local charitable organizations.

What Makes Him Haute Now: In addition to making our Haute 100 list, Brittenham made Hollywood Reporter’s 100 list of Power Lawyers in entertainment. The inventory includes only private practice attorneys that focus on talent, litigation, corporate dealmaking and labor. Those that made the fourth installment the magazine’s roll were chosen because they were involved in the biggest deals and lawsuits of the year in film, television, and music. Both Brittenham and his partner, Ken Zifferen, made the list along with eight others in their firm. Fellow Los Angeles Haute 100 lawyer Jake Bloom also made the cut.
