What Makes Him Haute: Pharell hit the music scene in the 1990s and he isn’t going anywhere. He and a long time friend started The Neptunes, which has been credited with defining the pop music genre through work with Madonna, Jay-Z, Usher, Britney Spears, Nelly, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, and more, earning them a couple of Grammys along the way. He is also the lead singer and drummer for rock band N.E.R.D. Don’t think all he does is music. He also works with two clothing lines, Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. He released a jewelry line with Louis Vuitton, and created a collection of furniture with Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin.
What Makes Him Haute Now: Pharell is on to his next project. He has teamed up with Harley-Davidson to design his own motorcycle. Harley-Davidson is pretty happy about the buzz behind the new bike and they have even made a new commercial featuring Williams and his new bike. According to Williams, this bike “is going to make you want to take your shirt off and drive 100 miles an hour down some old country back road.” Sounds pretty Haute, Pharell.
