What Makes Them Haute: Scottie was Michael Jordan’s right-hand man on the Chicago Bulls, which won an outstanding six championships thanks to the unstoppable duo. His wife, Larsa, is a former model who married the basketball great in 1997. Not familiar with her? You will be shortly, as she is one of the cast members of Bravo’s forthcoming television show with a working title of Miami Social Club. Expect it to be like the Real Housewives but with a Miami flair.
What Makes Them Haute Now: Six-time NBA champ Scottie Pippen joins the greats in the 2010 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Former teammate and 2009 Hall of Fame inductee Michael Jordan presented the prestigious honor to Pippen. Pippen gave a heart-felt eight-minute speech, thanking former teammates Dennis Rodman and Steve Kerr, with a special thanks to Jordan. “I appreciate playing with you guys,” Pippen said. “You will always be in my heart.” The new hall of famer closed his speech by expressing his gratitude to wife Larsa and their four children.
