Vogue, The Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York launched Fashion’s Night Out last year with the purpose of bringing the fun and excitement of shopping back into our lives. The event encouraged everybody in New York to act as a VIP member of the glamorous fashion industry, if only for an evening, and join the ranks of top-tier designers, models, celebrities, stylists, and editors in the celebration of Fashion Week. The program’s success has been extraordinary, thus making September 10 the official date to celebrate retail as an experience. Now in 16 countries worldwide, Fashion’s Night Out has become the proverbial World Cup of style.
