Friends of Tempe Center for the Arts July 4 Celebration (July 4)

First, the good news: This will be the private party with the best view of the Tempe Town Lake fireworks display, and attendees will enjoy a traditional picnic buffet with grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, cowboy beans, corn on the cob, pineapple coleslaw, and warm apple cobbler. There will also be a no-host bar, as well as coffee, soft drinks, and water. When the sky begins to light up with fireworks, partygoers will watch the fun unfold from the rooftop terrace or from inside 201 Lounge. Now, the bad news: Reservations had to be made by June 29. But, as this sounds like an incredible way to spend an evening, we thought we’d put it on your radar in case you weren’t already in the know. Become a Friend of the TCA and get on the guest list next year!

Wrigley Mansion Pool Party (July 4)

This adults-only part will kick off at noon, when partygoers start heating things up by dancing on the mansion’s lawn to a DJ, and then later, the sounds of folk-funk band Delcoa. When it’s time to cool down, take your turn on the Slip-N-Slide if you dare. And to keep the fun in full gear, there will be games, contests, and food and drink specials throughout the day, as well as a tasty “All-American Barbecue” at 4 p.m. From the mansion’s hilltop perch, you and your date will be able to view fireworks displays from all over the Valley after nightfall.
