Spa Month Kicks Off with Haute Deals for Your Holiday Weekend

Nothing says ‘Let freedom ring!’ quite like a much-needed pampering session. Luckily for you, Miami Spa Month has kicked off just in time for the holiday weekend. So, unglue that Blackberry Curve from your hand and relax your mind—for a mere $99, we’ve got you covered with the hautest deals.

This month, the Spa at The Setai is offering a variety of facials and body polishes. Though all treatments are noteworthy, the hour-long Ancient Balinese Massage is the main event. Unlike a basic massage, it incorporates different stretching and pressure point techniques to give you the most indulgent experience.

Agua at Mondrian South Beach is extending three deals for Spa Month: its agua manicure and pedicure; agua massage; and a customized Target massage, complete with agua’s own Lavender Herb Body Scrub. All of these hour-long procedures are a perfect retreat amidst the whirlwind of pool parties and barbeques you’ll be attending over the weekend.

Also located on the Beach is Acqualina’s ESPA, an expansive oceanfront spa that was recognized as one of the top spas in 2008 by Condé Nast Traveller. ESPA is offering two Spa Month deals this year—its Swedish massage and Intensive Facial. Both treatments are customized to guests’ pressure points and skin types.

For those who prefer a locale with fewer tourists and complimentary valet, there’s The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, located in Brickell. This three-level escape haven is offering its Oriental Essence massage, which focuses on relieving neck and shoulder tension; the Aromatherapy Facial; and a manicure and pedicure deal. All guests are encouraged to also enjoy its Oasis Beach Club, which includes a private beach, infinity pool and Jacuzzi.

With a total of 36 participating spas, Miami Spa Month 2010 continues until Aug. 31.
