At the ripe age of 28, Kiera Chaplin has experienced more than the average person does in a lifetime. Now residing in New York City, she spent the better part of her teenage years modeling in Paris. Chaplin has graced magazine covers and spreads; has appeared in campaigns for some of the most notable fashion brands—Asprey, Armani Exchange, and Tommy Hilfiger; and was featured on the 2002 Pirelli Calendar. And that’s only the beginning of it.

At five-foot-eight, which is considered “short” by modeling industry standards, Chaplin has been shot by some of the most prestigious fashion photographers of our time—Mario Testino, Bruce Weber, Herb Ritts, Terry Richardson, and Peter Lindbergh.

As granddaughter of the infamous Charlie Chaplin, it would only be natural that the model/writer would also have a try in the film industry. She has been in a few movies, but it’s her position as chairman of Limelight Films Inc. that’s put her on the industry map. The production company was named after her favorite Charlie Chaplin film.

Earlier this year, Chaplin was awarded a “Style Icon” award by the Vienna Awards for Fashion and Lifestyle.
