Shaquille O’Neal recently had another run-in with magic, and we’re not talking about the NBA. In honor of his new ABC show Shaq Vs., which will air Aug. 3, the 7-foot-1 basketball player headed to the Rio on Tuesday to take on magicians Penn & Teller. The event was taped as part of his new reality show.
Shaq Vs. will be a competitive reality show that revolves around the athlete going head-to-head with other top athletes (and in this case, personalities) in an attempt to beat them at their own game.
Why’d he choose this concept for a reality show? “Bragging rights are always better than any monetary prize,” says Shaq.
