On Tuesday night, Daniel Lalonde, president and CEO Louis Vuitton, and Geoffrey van Raemdonck, senior vice president of northern region for Louis Vuitton welcomed guests to the inaugural Salon de Louis Vuitton Tuesday night with Mikhail Baryshnikov. The series invites top clients and friends to have an audience with influential artists.

Guests gathered on the second floor of the Fifth Avenue flagship for a six-course meal prepared by Veritas chef Grégory Pugin that included lemon-marinated langoustine with ossetra caviar and braised Kobe oxtail and was accompanied by rare LVMH wines. Dessert was rhubarb compote with marinated strawberries and sweet ginger sorbet.

Nineteen-year-old Kate Davis, a jazz bassist and singer from Portland, Ore., who was discovered by Baryshnikov performed for guests throughout the evening. Others in attendance included Annie Leibovitz, Lisa Rinehart, Severine Fritsch-Fontanges and Stacey Kimmel.
