Haute Decor: The Haute 5 Home Decor Stores in Las Vegas

If you want to look on the positive side, Las Vegas has plenty of homes on the market right now, making it an opportune time to buy and at cheap rates. If you want to look at the negative side, you could ask, “Once I buy a home, how am I going to furnish it?” Easy. The city still has chic places that will make your home into a luxurious respite. Here’s a look at the Haute 5 home decor stores in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Design Center Design Studio
OK, technically we’re cheating because the Las Vegas Design Center’s Design Salon is not just one store but more than 50 tucked inside the monstrous World Market Center. Twice a year, the buildings just off Charleston Boulevard and I-15 host Las Vegas Market, where buyers come to check out the latest and greatest in home decor. Inside the Design Salon, you can buy designer furnishings previously offered only to the trade and at 20 percent to 50 percent below the prices you would pay at a typical home furnishings store. On top of that, you can get a complimentary consultation from an interior designer accredited by the American Society of Interior Designers.

Design Salon services are available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday except designated holidays and during the bi-annual Las Vegas Market home furnishings trade show. To schedule a personal shopping appointment, call 702.599.8155. Las Vegas Design Center Design Salon, 495 S. Grand Central Pkwy., http://lvdesigncenter.com/consumers/shopping.

Realm of Design
Talk about a ballsy company. Realm of Design is building a new facility inspired by Swarkestone Hall Pavilion in England. Not familiar with it? The Rolling Stones did a photo shoot there with Michael Josephin in June 1968 for the cover of Beggar’s Banquet. And Realm of Design is trying to get the Stones to visit. Aside from that, this architectural reproductions and design company creates some stunning products made from aged stone and green architectural stone. Look for everything from porte cocheres and mantels to flooring and columns.

The Realm of Design showroom is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1188 Center Point Dr., Henderson, 702.566.1188, www.realmofdesign.com.
