Dori’s World: Dinner with Next Jump After the MasterCard Meatpacking Shopping Event
Last night, I hosted a dinner with Ulla Parker, Next Jump CEO and founder Charlie Kim and Next Jump angel investor Kevin Parker at The Lion Restaurant following the MasterCard Meatpacking Shopping Event. The exclusive VIP shopping experience featured the latest fashions from the world’s leading designers. Twenty designer merchants including Hugo Boss, Catherine Malandrino, Generra and Paige Premium Denim shared exclusive offers on their latest styles on the limited guest list.
Ulla Parker, Lizzie Grubman, Daniella Rich and I went to the ADAM store to meet the one and only Adam Lippes and shop. Then we headed to Theory and Yigal Azrouël for more shopping.
Afterward, we hosted a fabulous dinner at The Lion Restaurant. We had cocktails in the private room upstairs and then headed into the secret back room where two long tables awaited our guests. Fashion greats like Style.com executive editor Derek Blasberg, Peter Som CEO Elana Posner and Ella Kim of Doo.Ri were on hand. Actress Jennifer Creel, real estate agent Debra Peltz, Inga Rubenstein, interior designer Celerie Kemble, event planner Bronson Van Wyck, Bonnie Morrison, Marjorie Gubelmann, Ali Wise, Jennifer Raines, gossip columnist Just Jared, Dylan Lauren of Dylan’s Candy Bar, Coralie Charriol and Serena Boardman were all there to help celebrate the success of the night.
Charlie Kim gave a great toast, and then I toasted Next Jump being the next great Internet company.
