Tongue & Groove
Tongue & Groove has been a hip dance club since 1994. Originally in the middle of the Buckhead bar district, they since moved to a bigger and better spot in Lindberg City Center. With its themed nights and upscale crowd, there is always music for the masses. Expect to rub elbows with sexy singles and celebs stopping through town. Whether it is a fashion show or just a big party, there is never an off night. Thursdays are Tongue & Groove’s trademark Southern Hospitality nights. It is where the trendsetters and people in the industry kick off the weekend.

Opera
This sexy nightclub is a see and be seen mainstay of Atlanta. Formally a 1920s Performing Arts Theatre, Opera has been transformed into one of Atlanta’s hottest nightclubs. Atlantans dance the night away here. If you want to take a break from the energy on the dance floor, makes sure to call ahead for a VIP table upstairs. It is always fun to watch the action from above.

Johnny’s Hideaway
This Buckhead bar is an institution for the good ole Atlanta folk. The crowd is an old-Atlanta bunch mixed with some younger ones looking to let loose. With its old-school goblet glasses and disco balls you feel like you are stepping back in time. But there is something charming about the smoky, dimly lit cougar-filled bar. Where else can you rock out to Shag and Disco music all night long. There is even a Sinatra room dedicated to the man himself as well as a corner dedicated to Elvis.

The Gold Room
What was once the notorious gentlemen’s club called the Gold Club has since been resurrected into a classier nightclub, The Gold Room and Lounge. The lounge features sleek modern design, stylish ambiance and an impressive DJ lineup. The Piedmont Road location in Buckhead is, an upscale option for the party and VIP set (there is even a seperate entrance for the ultra VIPs). The glitzy space features two bars, a spacious dance floor and banquet seating. The floating DJ booth on the second floor overlooks the main dance floor which is positioned directly under a shining disco ball. It’s all about dancing with glitz and glamour.

The Havana Club
Go to this Buckhead spot for some true Latin dancing. With an authentic Cuban atmosphere, you can really get your groove on Latin-style. The beautiful interiors of the 15,000-square-foot space offers a little something for everyone. From the cigar lounge to the live bands and salsa room, you will feel the Latin heat all over the place. Grab a mojito and hit the dance floor. Oh, and salsa lessons are complimentary.
