Ovation and ForYourArt celebrate Mark Bradford

Mark Bradford is a celebrated artist known for merging urban culture with transcendent art and creating his renowned “merchant posters.” His incredible use of imagery has garnered the artist much attention among his peers and art lovers and on April 10 he arrived at the REDCAT in Los Angeles to discuss his work and for the book signing of his first monograph.

Hammer Museum Chief Curator, Douglas Fogle sat down with Mark Bradford in a casual conversation in front of fans to discover the inspiration behind his artwork. The event provided those in attendance with a personal glimpse into Mr. Bradford and his work, as the artist interacted with guests, taking time to converse and pose for pictures.
