Miami’s Five Best Hotels for New Year’s Eve

In the land where the party never stops, it may be difficult to decide which party to attend. Here are the five best parties in Miami. Hurry though! It could fill up before you can say, “Happy New Year.”

1.    Mondarin South Beach
Celebrate the New Year on the quieter side of the beach at the Sunset Lounge. The $250 per person ticket includes a four-hour open bar, a performance by Macy Gray and a 20-piece symphony orchestra.

2.    Catalina Hotel
Watch the ball drop on a big projector screen as you dance and eat the night away. The party presents the Spam All Stars Live, a buffet dinner, which includes sushi and desserts from 8pm to midnight, an open bar, plus the champagne toast. Music includes DJs spinning a variety of old-school hip-hop and ‘80s dance music. And best of all a breakfast buffet is served from 3-5 a.m.

3.    The Setai
If decadence is what you are looking for go to The Setai. Guests will enjoy a six course-tasting menu, while the bubbly flows all night, well at least until 11pm that’s when the cash bar begins. A special performance by the New World Symphony will be held during the dinner and vocalists Rebekah Diaz and Carmen Lundy will help you ring in the New Year.

4.    The Four Seasons Miami
Looking for something fun? Then head over to the Four Seasons Miami. This party comes complete with its very own Roaring 20s Dinner Dance theme. Guests get to enjoy champagne and canapés, and a 4-course dinner at only $145 per person.

5.    The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove
If all the madness of South Beach isn’t enticing, try the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove. The more relaxed event of the evening, the hotel is offering a 4-course Tuscan meal, caviar, and a chocolate fountain. Opt for the 9:30pm sitting and get a flute of champagne, post-dessert Limoncello, Ritz-Carlton gift, and access to that chocolate fountain- its $148 per person.
