On December 12th, Lulu Flynn Shriftman welcomed all party animals that included two and four-legged tastemakers. Event attendees included Alejandra Torres, Fernanda Domit, Hernan Arriaga, Ines Rivero, Mary Ta, Paul Bacardi, Sarah Callender, Mayor of Bal Harbour, Mayor Jean Rosenfield and ONE Bal Harbour owners & brothers, Jorge and Juan Arevalo, with pets in tow. They all came together and celebrated the launch of Lulu Flynn’s new pet program at ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa, as well as her first book, The Ultimate Dog Party.
A pooch-perfect “pawty,” the afternoon entailed festivities for both humans and their furry friends including Kritter & Kidz Pet Sitting & Pet Taxi, AK9 Mobile Pet Grooming, Canine Counselors and doggy t-shirt, and collar creating courtesy of C By Me. Canines. Pets lounged on Lulu Flynn’s signature dog beds custom made by Eloise Pet Accessories and rough housed with the hotel’s signature dog toys in a fenced-in area.
Lulu Flynn and ONE Bal Harbour also partnered with Share-A-Pet, an organization that provides certified and insured pet-assisted therapy to those confined to hospitals, nursing homes and children’s centers.
Guests dined on savory snacks such as pigs in a blanket, mini sliders, french fries, and lunch including barbecue chicken, burgers, and Hebrew National all beef hot dogs. Kiddies were served bone shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and for dessert, guests were offered dog and bone shaped cookies, blondies and brownies. To drink, those who attended sipped on mojitos and bottled water personalized with Lulu Flynn labels. Doggies enjoyed chicken and rice, and treats from Three Dog Bakery and the Doggie Bag Café.
The Lulu Flynn pet program at ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa offers an array of services and amenities for all animals traveling with their owners, including a 24/7 “Pawcierge”, a delectable in-room dining dog menu created by celebrity chef, Ingrid Hoffman, and Lulu Flynn’s signature pet products for ONE Bal Harbour such as pet beds, toys, food & water bowls, placemats and treats.
