W Hollywood to Launch ‘Visionaries’ Series

Ten years in the making, the W Hollywood finally opens in January 2010.  Just as W Hollywood Residences promises an iconic address set to innovate and redefine the residential landscape of modern LA from the landmark intersection of Hollywood & Vine, the visionaries of development, design and hospitality responsible for this world-class property are turning to innovative mediums to share their vision and excitement with future residents.

“The talents responsible for shaping the W Hollywood Residences lifestyle share a common passion for excellence in modern design and hospitality,” said Marty Collins, CEO and founder of the property’s lead developer Gatehouse Capital. “We want to introduce these unique personalities to our future residents in an intimate setting through a medium that engages directly and immerses them in each compelling story. The world today connects online, and from Hollywood, the world expects a compelling story told in a distinct voice. This launch provides that direct connection between future residents, the visionaries of W Hollywood and the excitement of the Hollywood Renaissance.”

The W Hollywood Residences Visionaries Series: Vol 1 will capture the personal perspectives of the project’s principal players in interviews covering unique offerings, compelling themes and personal passion points. The first interview features Collins, who for more than a decade has worked to bring W Hollywood’s catalytic lifestyle and mix of uses to Hollywood & Vine, as he shares his personal vision for the project, its iconic location, modern design, and lifestyle opportunity.

Future installments from the first volume of the Visionaries interview series will arrive weekly and feature the perspectives of: Principal Architect Eddie Abeyta of HKS Architects, W Hollywood General Manager Jim McPartlin of W Hotels, nightlife impresario and Drai’s Hollywood Principal Victor Drai, Restaurateur Lee Maen of Innovative Dining Group, W Hollywood Residences Sales Manager Maranda Blanton, and group discussions on the topics of Whatever/Whenever Service and Sustainability.
