Even though it’s Thanksgiving and every one is dreaming of their stuffed Turkey, we at Haute Living keep thinking about steak for some reason! STK, in fact. The STK we’ve really been wondering about is the station that is still under construction at the Gansevoort South in Miami Beach. About a month ago, we got an update that the sexy interiors were nowhere near completion, but today the official word is that the estimated opening date for the steakhouse is “mid to late December.”
According to Eater Miami, some folks have already been let down by the unreliable listing of opening dates. A number of Art Basel parties were booked for STK, but Basel-ites were forced to find alternative venues when they were told the restaurant wouldn’t be ready. It would probably help out some if The One Group wasn’t advertising STK’s availability for private parties on its website! However, we do still hope the Gansevoort and The One Group prioritize this opening as their New Year’s Resolution.
