Small ship cruise line, Silversea, has just released plans to launch a new luxurious vessel just days before Christmas, on December 23, 2009.
The new vessel, Silver Spirit, will feature a beautifully luxurious Art Deco design and due to its smaller size, the ship is expected to feel more like a “communal yacht” than a cruise ship. Silver Spirit will have six restaurants onboard including one that will offer a slow food concept.
You’ll be pleased to hear also that the ship is an all-suite boat, and the suites are larger than any of Silversea’s other ships to date. The maiden voyage will depart from Lisbon, Portugal travelling to Fort Lauderdale; however, that trip is already sold out. But fear not, you can still hop on board for the 91-day cruise around the America’s which departs on January 21, 2010 and includes the ship’s christening party and VIP tickets to Rio’s Carnival in Brazil.
