Diamonds are a Cocktail’s Best Friend

“On the rocks” takes on a new meaning with this deluxe diamond cocktail shaker inside Amsterdam’s House of Bols. For those familiar with Amsterdam, Bols is a museum and gift shop for their liqueur company located across the street from the Van Gogh museum. Bols joined efforts with Coster Diamonds to create this 18k gold, diamond-encrusted silver shaker weighs in at a whopping 19.05 carats.

Entitled “The Boston Shaker,” which is pretty random, the bling fit for any boozehound comes encased in leather trappings designed by the French Établissements Bernard RDB.  The only potential dilemma: how do you find alcohol worthy of being shaken in this $52,000 bar accessory?
