Trump SoHo Opening

Few things associated with the name Donald Trump are subtle or discrete, and the new Trump SoHo building is no exception. Bold and brazen in true Trump style, the luxurious hotel is set to open its magnificent two sets of towering bronze doors on February 1, 2010.
While New Yorkers will be braving the cold weather and the New Year will be upon us, Trump SoHo will be making its mark in the hotel industry with the latest development from the powerhouse himself. If history has taught us anything, it’s a sure bet that regardless of what personal opinions one may have for straight-talking Trump or his conglomerate of an organization, when Trump sets his mind to succeeding, he does it. And expectations are that Trump SoHo will be no different.

The Trump SoHo is a spectacular 46-story glass tower which was designed by Handel Architects and will feature 391 stately rooms and suites. All of the interiors of the rooms and suites were crafted by Rockwell Group.

There are still rooms available for the opening night, February 1, and they are currently listed from $389 per night (plus tax) for a Deluxe King.

Ivanka Trump is Donald Trump’s daughter and executive vice president of development and acquisitions for The Trump Organization. When asked about the new Trump SoHo, Ivanka said, “We will have more two-bedroom penthouses and more two-bedroom suites than any other hotel in New York. We will have the largest meeting and event space of any hotel in SoHo, including our dazzling top-floor venue, SoHi. And you’ll find there is nothing like The Spa at Trump anywhere in the city. Details we’re most looking forward to seeing include: the two-story conservatory lobby, the Library stuffed with Taschen books, the Fendi Casa furnishing, the three Spa Suites, and, also in spa land, the two separate luxury hammams (Turkish bath) for men and women.”
