Shopping For Greatness

If you’re on the hunt for incomparable art and antiques, there’s only one place to look-The International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show. It has been recognized as one of the best showcases for quality art since 1989, featuring some of the world’s top dealers. It is also the first fair in the U.S. to introduce the concept of “vetting,” a set of guidelines with the purpose of maintaining the utmost standards of quality and oftentimes more importantly, authenticity. The vetting committees that work this fabulous fair are without a doubt professional, trained both academically and commercially, through museums and specialists.

Just about anything remarkable you want, you can find at the fair. Furniture, paintings, ceramics, glass, clocks, textiles, books, jewelry, silver, antiquities, and anything else you could possibly imagine, will be at The International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show. Prices of these items range from just a few hundred dollars all the way up into the millions. Because of their expertise and outstanding credibility and collections, this year, the fair is a nominee in the Luxist Awards’ best antiques resource category. There’s nothing else out there that compares to this particular fair, so I’m sure they will take the title home.

If you want to experience the best that the art and antique world have to offer, don’t miss out on this year’s fair, taking place October 16th until the 22nd at the Park Avenue Armory. If you manage to walk away empty-handed, I’ll be shocked.
