Neiman Marcus Makes Gift-Giving Fun and Easy

The holiday season is quickly approaching and as always, Neiman Marcus has released their Christmas book to help in the preparation.  With an assortment of gift ideas that range from $75 plaid stockings to the new 2010 Jaguar XJL, Neiman Marcus has something that will surprise and please even the most difficult of those to shop for.

In the company’s 83rd edition, the introduction makes a point of saying that gifts don’t need to be extravagant to be well received, and nearly 50 percent of this year’s ideas cost under $250.  Beautiful Italian wool scarves are suggested at $235 a piece as well as a $175 iPhone case.  Ralph Lauren rain boots are featured at $250, as are the super comfortable $100 Ugg slippers.

As for the gifts that “wow”, those are exquisite.  At the top of the list is the $250,000 two-seating ICON A5 sports aircraft, closely followed by the all-new 2010 Jaguar XJL and other limited-edition Jags for $105,000.  For a more eccentric elaborate gift, Neiman Marcus is also offering a Cupcake Car.  The car, literally in the shape of and decorated as a cupcake, is constructed of wood, wires, and sheet metal, decorated with fabric, and travels at 7 mph.  The cupcake is customizable so you can choose your favorite flavor, or color, and give the gift of a Cupcake Car for $25,000.  If that doesn’t suit your fancy, the Christmas Book has 140 other pages of top designer fashion and unique gifts to choose from—something of which is sure to be the perfect gift!
