Meg Ryan Puts Bel-Air Home on Market

News | October 5, 2009

America’s sweet-heart and Hollywood actress, Meg Ryan, is selling her Spanish-style Bel-Air home for $14.2 million.

Originally purchased by Ms. Ryan in 2000 for $8,995,000, the six bedroom and seven bathroom estate built in 1931 has been refurbished over the years by the actress. The home features a dining pavilion, swimming pool, four fireplaces, a guest house, stenciled beam ceilings, arched doorways and ironwork, in addition to French doors that open up to city and ocean views.

After listing the home for several months in October 2008 for $19.5 million, Ms. Ryan withdrew the listing for unknown reasons before recently returning it to the market for a significant drop in price. David Offer of Prudential California Realty, Los Angeles, is handling the listing for Ms. Ryan.
