Larry King, of CNN’s Larry King Live talk show, and his beautiful wife Shawn King, are the newest residents on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.
The famous couple has just purchased a unit in the Carlyle, which is the last high-rise building permitted to be built along the infamous “Golden Mile”. It is noted that units of similar size to the one bought by the Kings have been sold for between $3.5 million and $5.6 million.
The fabulous unit, which has 11 foot ceilings, also has three bedrooms and 4 and a half bathrooms, including his-and-her bathrooms off of the master suite. As with all other 78 private residences in the building, the Kings unit has a private elevator and additional luxury amenities that include 24 hour valet, doorman, and concierge service, as well as a private wine cellar.
Beverly Hills residents and neighbors fear not: The Kings are reportedly not selling their main Beverly Hills home. This new unit at the Carlyle will function as the pair’s second dwelling and can be expected to double as a guest house for their family and personal friends.
The Carlyle property, which recently has its grand opening in Los Angeles, was developed by Elad Properties who also own and are credited for developing the Plaza Hotel in New York.
