Vertu, hands down the leader in the luxury mobile phone market, first teamed up with Ferrari in honor of the famed car company’s 60th anniversary in 2007. This year, Vertu has revisited the highly successful partnership with a new line of super-phones. Reflecting the exclusivity, elegance, and performance of the best supercars, the new Vertu Ascent Ferrari Ti line is comprised of 2009 limited edition handsets in sleek black, vibrant red, or dashing yellow leather.

The partnership seamlessly integrates the materials and design cues from the cars into the new phone. The Vertu “V” logo is complemented by the prancing horse emblem that appears on the front and back of the phone, while the battery cover mirrors the distinctive bonnet detailing. As with all Ferrari phones by Vertu, the Ascent Ti Ferrari editions use the same leather and stitching as the Ferrari car interiors. The handset is made using the finest materials, including a sapphire crystal screen and a chassis built from high-grade titanium, which gives the Ascent Ti its distinctive name. As a final added bonus, the new collection features recordings from F430 and the 612 Scaglietti engines; musician Dave Steward has blended these unique sounds into an exclusive selection of ringtones.
