Gentlemen Start Your Engines…

Want to be the baddest hipster on the block with a glamorous vintage racecar? Then be sure to catch the Goodwood Festival of Speed Auto Auction in Sussex, England from July 11 to 13.
Don’t be afraid to agitate the gravel with the first production example of the 1955 Jaguar D-Type, which is set to be auctioned off by Bonham’s during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The D-type is one of the most coveted sports cars in history, carrying an estimated value of $4 million to $5 million. And not only does it have a colorful racing history, but a similar one was also once owned by Steve McQueen.
You’ll also be able to fire up a retro sleek lime green 1970 Lamborghini Miura P400S Series II Berlinetta (similar to models once owned by Frank Sinatra and Miles Davis); or pop the clutch on a rare 1968 Bizzarrini GT Strada 5300 coupé, a 1962 Cooper-Climax Type 61 ‘Monaco’ (one of only three believed to exist), or a 1961 Aston Martin DB4. Burn rubber, baby.
