Naturally, the queen of gemlike minaudières, Judith Leiber, has joined the movement for decadent edibles and for spring, debuts a line of cupcake-inspired clutches.
For the most discriminating palate of taste and fashion, Leiber offers the minaudières in two succulent flavors: mocha and strawberry. Both purses are a guiltless dessert, but carry an equally indulgent price tag at $4,295 each. They are available for purchase at Leiber’s shop on 680 Madison Avenue in New York City.
Like many of Leiber’s iconic creations, the cupcake mini-clutches are the ultimate conversation piece. Your friends will instantly spot it as a Leiber, but be prepared to divulge: “who has the best butter cream icing?”
