Kanye West’s West-Coast mansion appears to be sold

Hip-hop artist/producer Kanye West, who on Friday morning received eight Grammy nominations (the most of any nominee this year), appears on the verge of quite another impressive accomplishment.
West, 30, is near a deal to sell his six-bedroom Beverly Hills home, listed at $8,699,000, just eight months after he purchased it. If the deal in place is for the price listed, West will have sold the home for approximately $1.5 million more than he paid.
Located at 631 N. Crescent Drive, the main house is in “tear-down condition,” perhaps a good justification for why the hip-hop super star has been living it up in his $1.75 million Hollywood Hills home, which he has owned for four years.
The property is on 0.79 acres of land, with plenty of natural canopy, which means that whoever does purchase the home will have plenty of space for updated plans. West is currently “looking for backup,” a term that generally means that a buyer is in the process of purchasing the home from him.
