A brand new condo located at 111 Central Park North has sold for an apparent Harlem record of $6.6 million to Rodney and Eleanor Propp.

Rodney Propp, chairman of Tahl Propp Equities, has focused his recent years’ work on reinventing the Harlem neighborhood, and it appears this purchase proves that he’s buying into his own idea.

The 5,500-square-foot condo, which overlooks New York’s famed Central Park, will be the Propps’ new home after they moved out from their swanky Park Avenue digs (well, apparently not swanky enough). The home occupies an entire floor at 111 Central Park North, and features six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms.

Of course, the $6.6 million record is sure to fall very soon. 111 Central Park North also features a three-level penthouse that is currently priced to move at $8.5 million.

But, hey, we here at the Haute Blog are here to remind the Propps: Records are meant to be broken.
