L’Hélicoptère par Hermès combines style and sensibility

The concept is simple: “Rise above narrow issues of style vs. engineering, and restore the passenger to a position of pre-eminence.” Those are the words of Eurocopter and Hermès, partners of an unlikely – but perfectly paired – marriage between style and sensibility.
“L’Hélicoptère par Hermès” is the resulting offspring, essentially a twin-engine Eurocopter EC135 that has been adorned with the luxurious appointments synonymous with the Hermès name. The combination of Eurocopter’s signature smooth, quiet flight and Hermès’ delicate, lush style is perfect for short-distance private travel for the sophisticated businessperson or family. The helicopter was unveiled at the 2007 Business Aviation Association meeting in Atlanta.
The helicopter’s sleek design incorporates soft, supple leather throughout, along with several recessed or hidden storage spaces that are ideal for optimum space and luxury. With unobstructed flat floors, four passengers can comfortably sit back and relax as the pilot takes them to exotic business locales and vacation destinations.
Though “L’Hélicoptère par Hermès” has not yet been priced, some speculate it will carry a tag in excess of $6 million.
Of course, if the purchase of your very own “L’Hélicoptère par Hermès” doesn’t have you floating, the helicopter’s super-smooth flights will.
