Academy Award winning actress ,Halle Berry, has listed her two bedroom, two bathroom Beverly Hills, California home for $5 million.
Beautiful Academy Award winning actress Halle Berry is selling her secluded and serene Old-World Mediterranean home located on Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Hills, California for $5 million. Berry purchased the home in October 2001 shortly after she married, now ex-husband, Eric Benet.
The property spans across 1.33 hillside acres and features a 2,274 square feet main house that was built in 1948. The grounds and gardens of Berry’s home climb up the hillside and are immaculately designed with stone pathways, an al fresco dining and seating area, potted plants, numerous terraces, an “L” shaped fire pit with a stone bench, and even a half moon spa. A long, gated stone driveway climbs the hillside and leads up to a large motor court and two-car garage. A pathway lined with bushes leads to a stunning antique wood front door opening to a modestly sized yet beautiful interior of the home.
The main house is an elegant Mediterranean-styled home with sand colored stone walls, wide plank wood floors, wood-beamed vaulted ceilings, antique wooden door, and wrought iron banisters throughout. There is a living room with a fireplace flanked by French doors that open to a terrace. A narrow dining room has towering stone walls, a row of windows that open to the property’s lush gardens and a divine over-sized chandelier. The galley-style kitchen is somewhat narrow as well, but is fitted with granite counter tops, luxurious commercial grade appliances and honey colored wood cabinetry. A cozy breakfast noon completes the kitchen space and is lit by skylights.
Berry’s master suite also features wood-beamed and high vaulted ceilings in addition to a fireplace, gold mirror, chandelier, and large bed. The master bathroom includes a free standing bathtub for two with a crystal chandelier and a view of the outside tree tops.
