The Dyson Demo Flagship store is now officially open to the public at 640 Fifth Avenue in NYC! Designed by the famous Sir James Dyson himself, the space was created to encourage consumers to interact with Dyson machines.
Customers are now able to fully understand the technology behind the products and why Dyson is a pioneers in the industry. Interactive demonstrations are dispersed throughout the store to bring to life the science at the core of the machines.
Experts are walking around the store available to explain products and provide recommendations that will best suit the different needs of customers’ lifestyles. Hair styling stations featuring the Dyson Supersonic and a purification room are just two of the experiences that guests can participate in at the new store.
“In order for people to understand how our technology works, it is imperative they have the opportunity to test and experience our products. This space is designed with that in mind. There isn’t another place in the world that captures Dyson – our spirit and our machines – like the Dyson Demo. It’s quite exciting to be opening in New York City, bringing hair science and purified air to Fifth Avenue,” says James Dyson, Chief Engineer and Chairman.
A monumental Dyson Digital Motor welcomes visitors as they step foot inside the Demo. This technology has enabled Dyson to massively expand its product portfolio beyond bagless vacuums to include battery-enabled and autonomous vacuums, bladeless fans, air purifiers, lighting, hand dryers, humidifiers and, most recently, the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer. All of these aforementioned machines are now on display and available under one roof.
