There are a plethora of hot new spots heading to the 90210 this spring. The most highly anticipated Beverly Hills openings of 2017 include a haute hotel, many restaurants and some high-end retail. The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, which will open in June, will feature 170 guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto oversized private balconies. On the hotel’s third level, spacious Villa Suites open onto manicured private garden terraces, perfect for entertaining friends at cocktail hour or having a quiet breakfast as the day begins. The hotel will host Jean-Georges, it will be the legendary chef’s first California eatery.  Then, Gratitude, the upscale concept of the popular vegan restaurant Café Gratitude, will open in the heart of Beverly Hills’ Golden Triangle. The biggest celebrity restaurant opening is Tatel, a famed Spanish club and restaurant, known by many revelers in Madrid and most recently Miami. Backed by celebrities and sports superstars like former Laker Pau Gasol, tennis champion Rafael Nadal, and singer Enrique Iglesias, the Canon Drive located restaurant is expected to become a hotspot in Los Angeles. American Tea Room, the Southern California-based tea purveyor known for its thoughtful sourcing, premium ingredients, and specialty blends, just recently re-opened its flagship shop in Beverly Hills. Originally opened in 2003, the luxury retail store showcases more than 200 of the brand’s rare and premium teas from around the world, as well as tea ware, accessories, and gifts. Customers are also able to take advantage of brewed tea and artisanal coffee by the cup, as well as sweet and savory snacks to-go. Last but not least, retail openings and re-openings include Harry Winston, which will be doubling in size to a 10,000 square foot space opening this spring, and The Goyard Store.
