Although we don’t get a true winter in Miami, we can still pretend that we’re in the height of the snowy season. And one of the best things about winter is indulging in all of the comfort food it brings. Luckily for us, some of Miami’s newest haute eateries have mouth-watering comfort dishes on their menus that will hit the spot. From warm and flavorful pasta dishes, to sweet and tasty brunch treats, here’s our haute 5 selection of some of the best.

1 Sam's Chicken Parm from Fi'Lia

The Naughty Fork
Michael Schwartz's new restaurant Fi'lia in the SLS Brickell is a hit among the Miami crowd. Chairman of SBE Sam Nazarian even has his own dish on the menu, aptly named "Sam's Chicken Parm" and we highly suggest you try it. With a flavorful thin slice of chicken layered with home-made tomato sauce and rich parmesan cheese, you'll be sold on one bite of this true perfection--and it's definitely worth the cheat day.

Tucked away in Brickell, this hip bar and restaurant has launched a new popup series bringing in Shimuja Ramen Bar along with famed Japanese chef Keiichi Maemura to helm the kitchen. Miami has long-awaited a good ramen spot, and now it's finally gotten its fix. The Tonkatsu Ramen bowl is the perfect dish to warm you up; pro tip: pair it with the pork buns for a winning combo.

3 Nashville Fried Chicken from Bird & Bone

Bird & Bone
If you're craving comfort food, there's nothing better than some crispy fried chicken. Look no further than Miami Beach's new addition, Bird & Bone. Richard Hales has brought traditional Southern country food to Miami within the trendy Confidante Hotel in Miami Beach, and it is a hit. 4 Cacio e Pepe from Upland

Victor Protasio
Stephen Starr has done it yet again with his new gorgeous restaurant, Upland, in Miami Beach's SoFi area. While the California-inspired menu offers high-quality, fresh ingredients to all dishes, they also still also provide us the comfort food we're craving. Although the pizzas are definitely a crowd-favorite, we must highlight the cacio e pepe--this warm, rich dish paired with a glass of red wine is all you need to complete your night.
