Inside 1 Hotel’s $10,000-A-Night Meyer Davis-Designed Presidential Suite
Acclaimed interior design firm Meyer Davis Studio, which created the jaw-droppingly beautiful, eco-consious interiors at the 1 Hotel South Beach, has just completed the hotel’s presidential suite.
Like 1 Hotel’s lobby, the presidential suite’s decor is inspired by nature and a chic simplicity that embraces the use of natural materials. Design elements emphasize the hotel’s beachfront location and make the 3,600 square feet of interior space seem cozy.
A sprawling master includes two king size beds from which guests can see the turquoise ocean, as well as two and half baths that boast top-of-the-line fixtures, such as custom Waterworks finishings, a Boffi free-standing tub and more. Another thing that is social about these is space, in cramped South Beach, the 1 Hotel’s Presidential Suite offers it up in spades.
The kitchen is also outfitted with Sub Zero and Bosch appliances, as well as a banquette and full dining room that seats 8 (pictured above.) Great kitchens, baths and bedrooms are to be expected. What surprising is the state-of-the-art media room, and the pool table to better while away free time in South Beach.
The suite boasts a large living room with ocean-front views, a finished balcony with large daybed to catch some rays or watch the sun rise.
If you must leave the room, there are still a lot of diversions on property, such as the new Prey pop-up on the roof deck, Beachcraft, the American eatery by Tom Collichio, as well as a complete spa, and eco-chic lobby to while the day away in.
1 Hotel South beach is currently offering 25% off stays with the booking of a spacious suite for over two nights. Select suite categories apply. Although there may be some black out dates and restrictions, the offer is valid through November 27, so you’ve got plenty of time to enjoy the Suite Life at a reduced fee.
