Most recently, during New York City Fashion Week, Hilfiger continued to be a trailblazer when he unveiled click and buy. In an interview with AFP, Hilfiger revealed he is changing the rules and will allow consumers to purchase the items the same-day. He said, “The younger customer does not want to wait any longer, they want to see it and wear it that day or the next day. So we’re going to change the rules. We’re going to allow the consumer to click and buy.”
Hilfiger also debuted the first-ever Instapit, a photo pit reserved for Instagrammers, as well as a “fast lane” to check in via Apple Watch. Basically Hilfiger’s show became one of the most fashion-forward, tech-savvy shows of the season.
