nicky hiltonEveryday life might have changed for hotel heiress Nicky Hilton after marrying English banker James Rothschild earlier this year, but one thing remains consistent: her commitment to charity. She currently supports longtime friend Nancy Davis’s Race to Erase MS, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Starlight Foundation. “I love children, so the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Starlight Foundation have been priorities for me over the years. Both organizations are doing so much to make a difference in the lives of sick children. They’re remarkable, and I make a point to contribute however I can,” the 32-year-old philanthropist maintains. Here, the socialite and designer, who just released the new fall handbag collection Nicky Hilton x Linea Pelle, walks us through a fabulous day of fashion and philanthropy in her newlywed life.

8 A.M. I wake up, lie in bed and read e-mails (half asleep). Then I get up, have some hot water with lemon and a light breakfast: hard-boiled eggs or a homemade smoothie. I don’t usually have a big appetite when I wake up, so I keep it simple and light.

9 A.M. Gym time for an hour. If I don’t go before 10 a.m., I’ll never go. Then, I come home, shower and get ready for the day.

11 A.M. Follow up on work calls and e-mails while having a cup of tea. My husband is English and makes the perfect cup of tea. It’s my favorite, and is the perfect way to start my day.

1 P.M. Lunch in my neighborhood. I live in downtown N.Y.C., and there are so many fab options. My usual favorites to grab lunch are The Bowery Hotel and Cafe Gitane.

1:30 P.M. Conference call with Nancy Davis, who founded the Race to Erase MS foundation back in 1993, to discuss the annual Race to Erase MS Gala for spring 2016. I lost my grandmother to Multiple Sclerosis, so this is a cause that’s very dear to my heart. I always try to help however I can, so Nancy and I are talking about the upcoming year and her vision for the event.

3 P.M. Design meetings with various brands I’m working with. Currently I’m designing a capsule collection of handbags with Linea Pelle. We did a small collection of really chic bags: Nicky Hilton x Linea Pelle that launched in September. I also just wrapped up a collaboration with Smashbox cosmetics, which was a lot of fun. I did a cat eye make-up kit and designed these really cute kitty cosmetic bags that the set came in, too.

6 P.M. Come home and take a hot bubble bath. Then I relax with my husband and talk about our day. It’s my favorite way to unwind after a long day.

7:30 P.M. We cook or order dinner in. I would say we cook about two to three times a week. I love to cook an organic roast chicken; my favorite foods to order are Indian or Greek.

9 P.M. I have a long and rigorous beauty routine. I take my make-up off, exfoliate, cleanse, tone and then put on eye cream, face cream and hand cream.

9:30 P.M. Get into bed and read for a bit. Currently I’m reading “Holy Terror: Andy Warhol Close Up” by Bob Colacello. I love nonfiction.
