Vivica A. Fox was in town last weekend to host an intimate baby shower for her friend, celebrity realtor and Hot Listings Miami realtor Tomi Rose, who has worked with big names like Shaquille O’Neal, Michael Jackson and Birdman.
The posh affair took place at the Thompson Hotel on Miami Beach and had a peach, cream and gold theme of “Strollers & Stilettos”, which was curated and produced by Amaris Jones. To keep the feeling of love in the air, Rose’s closest friends did or sent, hand written messages with wishes to Rose’s future baby girl where hanged on a tree by the guests.
Guests included Jenine Howard, Alexis Stoudemire, Michelle Mashburn, Almarie Chalmers and Sherie Swerdlow who feted the mom-to-be. Rose, who is expecting a baby girl, and the rest of the ladies enjoyed a light and healthy late lunch catered by none other than celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein. After the main event, they got to try out a luxurious dessert bar was catered by Deja vu sweets while beautiful mint green boxes of Norman Love Confections adorned each individual place setting.
There were a few faces who couldn’t make it but their presence and their presents were felt and seen on a table that overflowed with gifts from fellow basketball wives Savannah and Adrienne Bosh who couldn’t be there in person. Also on the table, gorgeous bouquets from conceptual florist, Olyve who designed centerpieces of lush cream roses accented by textural sword fern in tropical vases.
While guests came bearing gifts, they didn’t leave empty-handed themselves. They received giant gift bags included Eberjay intimates, Briogeo hair care, jewelry by Ellie Vail, leather goods by LIEBESKIND Berlin, Tip Shoe Gloves, hair care from Rik Rak salon and Uptown Energy drinks.
Rose, who is the senior vice president of the sports and entertainment division of Opulence realty has had a lot to celebrate lately as she also sold LeBron James’ Miami estate for $13.4 million last month.
