Previously known as Chef and then Adam Jones, the first trailer for Burnt is officially here.

The highly anticipated film, which starts Academy award nominated actor Bradley Cooper, showcases Cooper’s character restauranteur Adam Jones striving to create culinary art in the kitchen. The trailer first debuted on Yahoo!

The drama film directed by John Wells follows the culinary artist who destroyed his career. Jones, an arrogant two-star Michelin chef, suffered from drug abuse. After hitting rock bottom, he eventually cleans up his acts and returns to London. Determined to redeem himself, the chef taps the best culinary professionals in order to spearhead a top restaurant in attempt to gain three Michelin stars.

In the midst of slicing and dicing, Cooper’s character says, “I don’t want my restaurant to be a place where you come and eat. I want people to sit at that table and be sick with longing.”

The film also stars Sienna Miller, Uma Thurman, Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl, Lily James, Matthew Rhys and Jamie Dornan.

In preparation for the film, Cooper was coached by top chef Gordon Ramsey so he looks the part in the upcoming film. Gordon told Metro, “As well as giving Bradley a few top tips on cooking, I’ve taught him the most important thing he needs to know in order to get by in a kitchen – how to swear.”

Burnt, The Weinstein Company’s impeding film, will debut in the U.K. on Oct. 16th and will open in American theatres on Oct. 23rd.

Earlier this year, it was announced the three-time Oscar nominated actor will executive produce the CBS series “Limitless,” based on his 2011 film. He will also appear on the show, reprising his character from the film, Eddie Mora.
