Nicole Kidman’s wardrobe in the biopic Grace of Monaco has created more than a little buzz. The 44 looks she wears in the film are pure couture: think Hermès, Dior and Chanel. Unfortunately, the world hasn’t been able to see this fashion meets film dream—until now.

The movie, which only debuted in France at the Cannes Film Festival, is now making its American debut on Lifetime May 25th. It follows Grace Kelly—Princess Grace—through her year in 1962 as she adapted to Royal life as the wife of Prince Rainier III.

To replicate the princess’ style, stylist Gigi Lepage had her work cut out for her, recreating some of Kelly’s most iconic looks.

These included a Swarovski-studded baby blue gown she wore to a Red Cross gala based on a Jean Dessès design, her elegant Christian Dior and Chanel suits, and a stunning ivory confection inspired by a 1956 Antonio del Castillo design for Lanvin accessorized by the sash, star and badge of Monaco’s Order of Saint-Charles, and above-the-elbow satin gloves made by Maison Fabre that she wore while meeting French President Charles de Gaulle in 1959.

In addition to her plethora of fanciful frocks, Kidman also sports silk scarves by Hermès,  Bulgari baubles, fabulous, high-end footwear by Ferragamo and Jimmy Choo and jaunty, sophisticated hats by Alexandre Barthet in the film.
