Joe Zee, Yahoo Style Editor in Chief, makes an appearance next week at MAGIC, the fashion show that takes over Las Vegas.

The king of style will not only be hosting a panel with WWD editor Alex Badia, but will act as guest fashiondirector for the WWDMAGIC fashion show taking place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19.

Zee takes a minute to talk about his favorite street style trends, what he’s most excited for at MAGIC and the trend he can’t wait to see go.

Joe Zee’s Top 5 favorite street style trends:
1. The resurrection of the Louis Vuitton bag
During the September shows, fashion editors and street style veterans seem to have one thing in common, the newly designed Louis Vuitton bags. The demand for Nicolas Ghesquiere’s accessories for LV won’t die down anytime soon.

2. Off the Shoulder Dresses
Seems like every fashion influencer has been sporting the look from Evan Chen of Lucky Magazine to mega-blogger Aimee Song of Song of Style. It’s a fun way to show a little skin.

3. Frayed Denim
High-waisted, skinny, and color denim is what we always see but the frayed look lets anyone do a little DYI fashion. For inspiration on that look check out Tomasi Hill or J.Crew creative director,Jenna Lyons.

4. Adidas Stan Smith
These sneakers are so versatile — they can be worn with a Celine skirt to a vintage pair of jeans. Also a game changer in both women’s and men’s fashion.

5. Full Runway Looks
While this concept is not new, the idea of editors wearing full looks straight off the runways is always an eye pleaser.

What new brands are you most excited to see at MAGIC?
There’s no anticipating one particular brand at MAGIC, but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing all the new designers from all areas of fashion.

What is the one trend you can’t wait to see go?
My least favorite trend of all time Birkenstocks, especially for men! At Yahoo Style, we’re really excited about the “Flatform.” It gives women that extra height without sacrificing comfort and mobility.

What are you most looking forward to at MAGIC?
I’m always looking forward to seeing young talent. Today’s emerging designers are the voice of tomorrow, and I always try to support any young designer I believe in.
