Master of the arts James Franco has started his first business: an acting school.

The Academy Award nominee has recently opened Studio 4 in North Hollywood, a school which teaches the famous Meisner technique.

Though actors Brian Lally and Val Lauren will officially be teaching twice-weekly classes, Franco himself will be on hand sporadically at his latest venture.

Says the school’s site: “In addition to outstanding teachers, the students will have the opportunity to showcase their acting talents in front of James, one of the industries busiest directors and actors. Rabbit Bandini and James will cast roles directly from his classes, and will involve his students in a variety of his film and art projects.”

Rabbit Bandini is Franco’s production company, which will create job opportunities for the students through the school itself.
