Haute 100 LA Update: Jeffrey Katzenberg Offers Support to Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton received “the call” just a few months ago — the call being one of support from none other than Jeffrey Katzenberg.
The DreamWorks Animation CEO told the former Secretary of State that if she ran for President in 2016, he would support her.
Katzenberg verbally cemented his commitment to the Hollywood Reporter, saying: “She did an amazing job as secretary of state. She has really shown herself to be a great statesman. The four years of seasoning has really made her the best-qualified candidate out there today, and I’m happy to support her.”
The 62-year-old executive is one of Hollywood’s top supporters and fundraisers for the Democratic party.
Hilary is currently in town herself raising funds for Terry McAuliffe‘s Virginia gubernatorial campaign; she hosted a luncheon yesterday at the Beverly Hills home of Haim and Cheryl Saban.
