Inaugural Trump Invitational Brings Show Jumping and Celebrities to Palm Beach
The first ever $100,000 Trump Invitational Grand Prix CSI took place at Mar-a-Lago on January 6. The Donald along with wife Melania and son Barron Trump were on hand as well as Event Chair Georgina Bloomberg, Patti Springsteen and Designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka. The beautiful day event, which took place on Mar-a-Lago’s lawns included a performance by Cassadee Pope, winner of The Voice. The event was unique because it was the first time show jumping event took place on Palm Beach, as opposed to Wellington.
The event was also a fundraiser for the Consulting Great Charity Challenge and was presented by Fidelity Investments. Equestrian Sport Productions CEO Mark Bellissimo said, “We were thrilled with this successful event. The setting couldn’t have been more stunning and the equestrian sport was fantastic. It was an amazing combination of sport, entertainment, and philanthropy.”
