Patrón Spirits Collaborates with Fashion Icon John Varvatos to Create Limited-Edition Bottle Stopper

News | December 7, 2012

Fashion designer John Varvatos showed off the limited-edition bottle topper he created for Patrón Añejo tequila at his store in Soho on Dec. 6. Known for his rugged and edgy style, Varvatos is the first ever artist to design an element of the Patrón bottle and drew inspiration from his love of music.

Made of metal and emblazoned with Patrón’s signature bee, Varvatos modeled the stopper after a guitar head using real tuning keys. “As a fan of Patrón tequila for many years, I thought we’d lend a little rock n’ roll attitude to the brand,” he revealed.

Golden State Warriors NBA basketball player, Richard Jefferson, and Buffalo Sabres NHL hockey player, Ville Leino, also stopped by to check out the new bottle, which is available in stores now.

“I hope everyone enjoys this limited edition stopper for many years to come,” Varvatos added.
