Fashion’s Night Out at the Village of Merrick Park

Move over Fashion Week, there’s a new girl in town and she’s here for one night only. She’s full of style, energy and attracts the fine and fashionable of Miami. Introducing Fashion’s Night Out, a celebrated evening of style-and-star-studded events, crafted to support the fashion and retail industries around the world. With so many great stores to choose from, we decided to spend the night at one of our favorite one-stop shopping destinations, the Village of Merrick Park. On September 8, for the third year in a row, designers, models, fashion editors, celebrities and socialites will gather at the Village of Merrick Park for fashion’s sake.

The event will take place throughout the center of the Village of Merrick Park and inside participating retailers. Event components will include three Fashion’s Night Out Lounges, one of which is the exclusive Haute Living-sponsored lounge. The lounges will feature DJ Ess & Emm, libations as well as light bites, a sneak peak of fall 2011 trends and many other exciting initiatives. Guests will enjoy complimentary cocktails while capturing their Fashion’s Night Out experience by receiving a complimentary photo booth session with all purchases of $25 or more from any retailer throughout the center.

New this year, the Village of Merrick Park will partner with Dress for Success Miami in supporting their campaign, “Check your bag at the door.” Donate your gently worn handbag and put in a check to help raise funds for the Dress For Success Miami women’s program. With shopping bags in hand, end the evening with a visit to one of the center’s many dining destinations.
