Lilly Bollinger, one of the producers of Bollinger Champagnes, once said, “I only drink Champagne when I’m happy, and when I’m sad. Sometimes I drink it when I’m alone. When I have company, I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I am not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise I never touch it — unless I’m thirsty.” We feel there’s no time when Champagne isn’t appropriate. So whether you’re celebrating, with friends or alone, try out one of these places to sup Champagne in Las Vegas.
1 Laguna Champagne Bar
A whole bar in the middle of the Palazzo casino floor is dedicated to that liquid elixir known as Champagne. Look for six Champagnes by the glass, four by the half bottle, 16 by the 750-ml bottle, five Rosé Champagnes, three blanc de blancs Champagne made from 100 percent Chardonnay, eight vintage Champagnes from 1995 to 2002, five Magnum bottles, one Jéroboam format and one Methuselah format. Not enough? Try a Champagne cocktail or one of the “Boom Boom” shooters.
