We like everything super-sized in Las Vegas whether it’s our stars or our casinos. So you can expect the same when it comes to candy shops. On Tuesday, we featured the top chocolate shops in the city, and in an effort not to duplicate those selections, five candy shops that you won’t want to miss.

1 Sugar Factory

The Sugar Factory is where sweet lovers go to fulfill their dreams. Decadent gifts and specialty confections come at you with a kaleidoscope of colors. Look for Couture Pops, lollipops with extravagant bling designed by celebrities such as Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Scherzinger, Mel B and The Pussycat Dolls. In March, the new location opens at Paris Las Vegas and promises to serve up a Couture Pop for $1 million.

2 It'Sugar

Sweet treats line the walls and overflow in buckets at this sugary haven. Look for nostalgic candies such as Sky Bars, Razzles and Pop Rocks along with creations from Wonka such as Nerds and Gobstoppers and Hello Kitty.

3 Rocket Fizz

When you’re missing your favorite candies from the 1950s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s, head over to Rocket Fizz Las Vegas with its assortment of candy concoctions. Look for hundreds of candies from yesteryear along with more than 60 flavors of salt water taffy. Rocket Fizz even has the world’s largest selection of bottled sodas, and free tastings on Saturdays from 1 to 3 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m.

4 M & M's World

If M&Ms are your thing, you’ll love the four-story store on Las Vegas Boulevard. You can find seasonal treats along with 22 different colors.

5 Simon Restaurant & Lounge

OK, so Simon is not a candy shop, but we beg to differ when it comes to dessert. Chef Kerry Simon serves up the Junk Food Platter, an assortment of cotton candy, brownies, Hostess-inspired cupcakes, Snoballs, Rice Krispies and Froot Loop treats. If that doesn’t put you in a sugar coma, we don’t know what will.
